This site was born through the efforts of a number of Mike Hawthorn enthusiasts and tries to bring together a lot of information about Mike that is scattered around the planet on different media. The Internet is ideal for this being that it can handle virtually all types of information in one place - your screen!

Where possible, we've obtained specific permission to reproduce seminal articles and input from noted authors, particularly with regard to the extensive coverage of the 1955 Le Mans disaster and of Mike's own death in 1959.
